Serrano vs. Hardy 2
This Saturday Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (44-2-1, 30 KOs) and Heather “The Heat” Hardy (24-2, 4 KOs) will face off as the co-main event on the Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz card. This is a rematch for the two Featherweights, who first fought each other in 2019, with Serrano coming out the victor via unanimous decision and winning both of Hardy’s featherweight titles.
Despite this history, there’s no real animosity between the two New Yorkers - they both came up in the sport at the same time, and Hardy gave Serrano a title shot when she didn’t have to - she wanted to. And now Serrano is giving Hardy the opportunity to be a main event, potentially win Serrano’s titles, and make a ton of money. This kind of respect and camaraderie is beautiful to see.
ESPN wrote a lovely article about their friendship and their road to this fight: Amanda Serrano vs. Heather Hardy is about friendship, paying it forward and for more than just titles:
"For her to reach down the ladder and say, here, grab my hand, I got you on this one," Hardy said. "You know what I'm saying?
"That's a beautiful thing beyond boxing, it's beyond sisterhood. It's beyond woman to woman. It's beyond, 'I did something for you.' It's like, how can I best be used in this game?" - ESPN
There is a lingering question in the air around this fight - Will Saturday be the last fight for both Amanda Serrano and Heather Hardy? At 41, Hardy is at the end of her professional career (unless she keeps going, which she could!). And Serrano has signed on with PFL’s Super Division for future MMA bouts - Serrano has a previous record in MMA and Jiu-Jitsu.

Serrano vs. Hardy 2 will air live on Saturday August 5 on DAZN & ESPN+ PPV.
Undercard: Shadasia Green vs. Olivia Curry
As a bonus, on the same night, we’ll have another member of MVP Promotions entering the ring - Super Middleweight contender Shadasia Green (12-0, 11 KOs) will be taking on fellow American Olivia Curry (7-1, 2 KOs). Green has been selling herself so far as the answer to the lack of knockout power fighters in the women’s divisions - if she can deliver a stellar performance in this fight I think she’ll be able to get some of the big names she’s been calling out on social media. This will be Curry’s first 10-round fight, so it will be interesting to see how she handles the additional rounds.
It’s Official: The Katie Taylor / Chantelle Cameron Rematch
Ireland’s favorite daughter, Lightweight Champion Katie Taylor (22-1, 6 KOs) is returning to Dublin to try and avenge her first career loss to Junior Welterweight Champion Chantelle Cameron (18-0, 8 KOs). The fight is due to take place on November 25 at the 3Arena and Cameron’s Junior Welterweight belts are on the line.

Terri Harper and Cecilia Braekhus finally get their fight
After a disappointing cancellation due to illness back in May, WBA Super Welterweight Champion Terri Harper (14-1-1, 6 KOs) will finally face former champion Cecilia Braekhus (37-2, 9 KOs) on the undercard of the Leigh Wood/Josh Warrington fight. Harper’s WBA title as well as the vacant WBO title are up for grabs, making whoever wins this fight a unified champion at 154 lbs.
